Excellent š Like any other guide comb the hair needs to be completely dematted, metal comb should go through easily so the guide comb goes too. I'm a pet groomer and I use it on my own dog (OES) and I use it at doodles tails at work.

Does not penetrate dog's coat. Been grooming for years, use guard combs daily. Thought this one would be great for poodle top knots but it gets stuck even in thoroughly combed fur.

Fits clipper. Haven't had a chance to use it yet because her coat is to short but quality is nice.

Bought after watching a video using it to shorten the hair on a Poodles tail but it wouldn't go through my Poodle's tail. Used the next size down with no issue. Returned this snap on comb.
