There are double rubber o-rings on each taper or plug.
Tapers
Tapering is the most common method to stretch out your ears. If done correctly, this method is relatively painless.
Never wear tapers as jewelry. This will make your ears heal unevenly because of uneven weight distribution.
Plugs
Both sides of plug are engraved to hold o-ring in place.
Tunnels
Soft silicone makes all tunnels flexible, easy to wear
What you can do to reduce hurt?
Generally speaking, your earlobes will take about 2 weeks to heal / get used to a new gauge size. Listen to your body at every step, and you should never gauge up too fast.
Please go slowly when stretching, it's not a race to see how big you can get. And you can stop at any gauge any time.

If you're just starting out your gauge journey these are perfect. They include the smallest size to a decent medium size. I believe 00 is the largest size gauge.

These aren't flimsy cheap material like the ones from Spencer's or hot topic. Really enjoyed using these to gradually stretch ears again.

Produxt description says 50 sets , there is only 26. Don't waste your money , especially if your trying to get a full set to Guage up properly.
