These are built for a smaller shelves that what I put up. They would fine for a smaller than a 16 x 72”.

Used to attach wire shelves to wall. Wires were 3/8 inch wide and the clips fit in the slats at 1/4 inch wide. Clips are not very thick but doing the job

The cost of wire closet shelving has skyrocket along with most things. Even the hardware to install them has increased. These provide a decent cost effective alternative to buying the metal u brackets. These are relatively thin plastic. I wish they were thicker and a little bit bigger, but they do the job so they are definitely worth considering.
