This safe is neither fireproof nor waterproof. It is just a big steel box with holes in the back and no real seal on the door. The description is completely bogus. If you want water proof or fireproof do NOT buy this product.

It’s a nice size safe has an extra shelf but I don’t use it, keep alcohol and herb it. I like it east to open and lock

I’m actually loving this product. The safe is much bigger than expected. I can store many things like important documents and my gun. I love it.

The safe is well made, but it does not come with the described external battery box. It’s not a big deal, just don’t expect it.

While it is an adequate safe, it is NOT fireproof and does not have the advertised emergency battery pack feature down in the product details.

My old safe needed to be replaced i ordered this one on Amazon. Price was right but i was a bit concerned as there were other safes triple the cost. Maybe this wasnt as strong as the more expensive ones. I was wrong. This safe is solid and easy to use. For the money, this is a 10 /10!! You wont be disappointed!

It's nice to be able to store important papers and pictures money and other valuables in something as well made and secure as this safe. It's light in weight but there's no way you're breaking in to it and it's fireproof. I lost everything in a fire in 2008 and you never realize what a hassel it is to replace those things. like you can't get a license w/o a birth certificate or a birth certificate w/o a license as an example. It's just a comfort...

Pleasantly surprised as inside is bigger than I thought it would be. It is nice and obviously sturdy. It has a “secret” key access as well as the combination code which is nice. 2 keys included. The directions are short and sweet and code was easy to reprogram. I haven’t installed it with bolts yet but it fits on my closet shelf beautifully. I’d buy another one if I needed it.
