Your cart is empty.These 5-1/2" stainless steel locking tweezers are designed to hold ring shanks and setting mounts together during soldering. Designed with slide lock, and they securely hold rings for repair. The base pad is knurled for gripping purposes. The slide-lock mechanism controls pressure on assembly to hold any size ring. Made from satin-finished quality stainless steel, the flat serrated pad provides a no-slip hold.

Very handy little tool. I can position and hold a ring shank to the plate and move it around to make sure everything is positioned exactly right. Adjust it for light pressure for best results. I mount it in a “third hand” holder for convenience, but it isnt really necessary. I don’t use it for everything, but it’s very handy when I use it for making rings. Holds the shank to the plate securely for soldering.

I got this for school.My only complaint about this is, while it works, the pressure plate can shift when you're soldering.Which is horrible when you're soldering a head on to a ring.It's easier to just use your third hand.
