These new CF Express cards are very fast, but they can be pricey for larger options. This one is very large at 512GB while being a great value compared to the competition. I have recorded uncompressed video to this card without dropping any frames. Read speeds max out my 10Gbps reader, and I suspect that these transfer at close to their maximum rated speed. This card has been reliable so far.

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to CFexpress Type A cards required for the Sony FX3 or even my A7RV. The price was right so I bought two 512GB 4.0 CFexpress Type A cards. I tested both by coping 512GB of data to each card and testing with the Black Magic Speed Test app using the included card reader on my Mac Studio. Write Speeds were 1800MB/sec and Read Speeds were 1860MB/Sec.

This was a very good alternative to Sony, I got the 512gb 4.0 version to match the Sony I have.Build quality is slightly better with heat sink design so better performance under load and less thermal throttling. The card was much cheaper than Sony and performs better.Time will tell about its reliability. Overall I'm glad with my purchase.
