This nifty kit includes everything you need to make your own, super-strong, looped-end cables. The components are made of high-quality materials and assemble easily enough. That said, I gave 4 rather than 5 stars because there was no documents, instructions, etc., included, which will be a challenge for a beginner, but there are plenty of DIY videos online if needed. Definitely worth the cost!

I ordered the 8 mm x 10' steel rope and it REALLY heavy duty, I think my bolt cutters would have trouble getting through it (but I haven't tried that!). One end already has a loop held by a heavy duty crimp and they included another four "ends" and four wire clamps to hold them. I plan on using only one "end" and securing with two of the wire clamps.

How much can you say about a length of heavy duty wire rope? This appears to be a quality length of cable with one end already looped and cable ferrule u bolts so you can make it whatever length you want on the other end. I made it as long as possible, and use the U-bolt to make a loop on the other side. I’ve used this as a cinch to pull around brush piles and cinch them down to tow them with my tractor. Certainly this cable had no trouble standing up to the few hundreds of pounds of force involved in doing that. No noticeable corrosion either even though it’s been outside for many weeks. I do not have the ability to do any real testing of the strength of this product, but it works very well for my use uses.

I got this cable for my truck, and it works great. The stainless steel is high quality, and the 9000 lb breaking strength gives me confidence in its durability. It comes with all the necessary hardware, making installation easy. Definitely a sturdy and reliable option for securing or reinforcing heavy loads.

Very nice 5/16 Stainless Steel Cable, PIUM 10Ft Wire Rope. At 10' it would make a pretty abrupt stop as a zip line, but I got this for a guy wire to resist 1530 pounds of wind force on a couple of pieces of sail cloth. At a 9000 pound breaking strength, it will more than do the job. Well made with all the necessary hardware. Seeing how stout this is, if you got a longer length of cable you could make a dandy zip line.

Great high quality and heavy stainless steel. For me I'm using this to loop a cable through my fence and help keep it more secure during rain/wind.
