This cable was for a Muel 3010 . I recieved 1 instead of 2 and it was too long , tailgate hangs down at a 25degree angle

The tailgate has two cables which hold up the gate when open. Although I was careful to match the description of the item to my Kawasaki Mule make and model, the cable was about 1/2 inch longer that the original. This made the remaining cable hold all of the weight. I emailed the company and explained. They promptly refunded my payment and told me I could keep the item. I subsequently bought a second one and have attached both of the slightly longer cables. Problem solved!The attachment ends DID have to be ground down a few thousands as they are fatter than the originals also.It would have been easier if the description included length!
