This was easy to install. Has been working now for over 2 weeks and no problems. The price is fantastic as the appliance dealer wanted 80$ for a new one. Will keep my fingers crossed that it continues to operate.

The freezer I own was 24 years old and the thermostat was not available except used on eBay at a very high price. I was able to retrofit this unit by adding on side brackets, and drilling & tapping the control stem to get the original control knob to work. Nice except for the setting being at the lower end of the scale, there is no visual difference from the original.

we installed and froze a fridge full of food..... technically it works, ie cycles, but the headline on the product page is WRONG. we threw out a fridge full of food the morning after it was installed. NO amount of resetting fixed it. Had to buy an appropriate REFRIGERATOR thermo elsewhere.I asked for technical help, Amazon passed me around like a dish of pretzels and had NO answers other than to refund. which I took

This thermostat was OEM style, so it was easy to install. It was also a fraction of the cost of OEM. Unfortunately, it only lasted a year and a half. I ended up replacing this with a real OEM part in hopes I don't have to replace this again for years. Having your freezer fail is quite unpleasant.

It either freezes everything in the refrigerator or it doesnβt turn on at all. I got it because the original thermostat had to be turned all the way up and I am afraid itβs about to fail completely. I am returning the new one and reinstalling the old thermostat.

My cousin was about to give up on her freezer. Fortunately on the back was a simple wiring diagram. So, with about two minutes of multimeter evaluation, I determined thermostat was the problem, no question. Fortunately. Amazon had a direct replacement. I put it in and it has been working great for over 2 weeks right now.
