When I unboxed the cap, I was surprised how solid and well made it was. It was not made using thin gage aluminum, and had a nice solid feel to it. The installation was easy and the cap fit snugly on the post, held in place by two screws. I know this cap will make my posts last longer by keeping the rain water from collecting at the top and rotting it out.

These are heavy duty and look really nice on the posts. They fit a wooden 4X4 (actual size 3.5 X 3.5) post. I like that they have a pronounced overhang from the part that connects to the post and the top pyramid. Well worth the money.

These are true to fit and they offer all sizes for all your post cap needs. They're very sturdy, made very well and will last for years. We've had some up for almost a year and they still look new. I had finished the rest for my almost 500ft stretch of fence and ordered the wrong ones, contacted the customer service and had the correct ones within 4 days! They will take care of you and you will not regret the expense, you definitely get what you pay for.

Unfortunately, my posts are 2 different sizes and I couldn’t use these tops but for the one post that was a newer 6 x 6 this fit perfectly and was very nicely made.

Caps are good quality and I expect they will last much longer than the wood ones I had to keep replacing. Easy to install. Fit exactly to size 5.5x5.5.

These are fashionable, well made and with a low profile I am after. Purchased a few sets of these for my ranch projects over the last few years. I have to say what I like the most is that I can come back to Amazon and get the exact same brand, color, size. Not having to deal with discontinued products.. Huge value for me as I have more projects in the next couple of years where these will be needed again!

The caps fit a 3.5" x 3.5" post well, but there is a small amount of movement, which means space between the cap and the top of the post. In order to seal this small space, we placed the thin packing foam that came with the caps, between the cap and the top of the post, then screwed it in place. It worked brilliantly. No bugs can get up under the cap. Really like how these caps look on the post, and they are very well made, durable. Expect them to stand up well. Well worth the price to have a quality product.
