Product is not as advertised. It’s advertised as having a screw hole on the side next to the large screw. That screw hole would be used to tighten the lamp at an appropriate beam angle. The product images clearly advertise this hole in the housing and on the arms that hold the housing. On the product I received, it did not have those. I anticipate it will work ok for what I need, but I will probably have to adjust the lamp every few days. Second the screws that attach the arms to the housing are too long and I had to buy shorter ones. Pics attached to show what I’m taking about. For these reasons, I simply cannot give more than 1 star. I should not have to alter a product, after purchasing, to get it work as it was intended.

Great installation on Yamaha Virago 250. It took a little planning to route wiring…. Plenty of room inside housing to tidy installation.Way better than 2005 halogen that was on the bike.

It fits great and is easy to mount. I love the dark look. It holds very tight even on rough roads. The light stays right where it’s aimed and can be adjusted without tools when set right. Great value for functionality. Totally recommend it. Just to be clear its the bucket and mounting hardware only the light is separate. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0B38HRYKY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title is the headlight I installed

Professional fabricator with multiple bike builds under my belt, here. (For context)Normally I wouldn't buy parts off amazon (and you shouldn't either) but I'm doing a budget ex250 build and wanted to use a Drag Specialties tradition halogen lamp that I've had for awhile, and wanted to fork mount it. So I bought this bucket/housing as it appeared more sturdy than the only other options.First- don't expect to use the fork mounts that come with it, they are as flimsy as they appear in the pictures (I already bought some much sturdier ones).Second- the only headlight that fits is the style that is in the picture as I found when the lamp I wanted to use wouldn't fit without modifying the internal ring, so I bought the pictured lamp but still had to use butyl tape, (basically making a large rubber o-ring) to make it fit securely. This was supposed to be a real quick and relatively inexpensive solution but it wasn't either. However despite the flaws the housing itself is fairly sturdy and the reason I bought it is due to the four-point attachment where the front and back are screwed together, rather than the weak alternatives that are attached with 2 screws and the lamp is held in with flimsy clips.Just know what you are getting into and that you'll need some problem solving skills to make this work for you.
