This spark plug socket is excellent quality. It is made of strong steel. The finish is highly resistive to scratching (matt chrome). The included extension arm works well on deep spark plugs. The flexible head makes fitting under cables and wires very easy. This fits a 3/8" drive without adapter. I highly recommend this tool.

Needed to change my own spark plugs in order to avoid a $200+ bill from the auto shops. Did my research on the tools from Walmart, Advanced Auto Parts, Harbor Freight, etc. and I was pleased to find this product comparable in features, but a steal in price. Skeptical, I was pleased to find the build quality to be top notch with no weak points and a perfect fit for my use. I plucked plugs out of a Toyota and Kia with ease. This is a tool that will last a few generations.

I’ve always used a spark plug socket coupled with one of my 3/8” extensions to remove and replace spark plugs. Some of these spark plug sockets are old and the rubber insert no longer firmly grips the spark plug. Ran across and picked up this swivel spark plug socket with almost a 12” extension. Most of my vehicles have coil over plugs and I need a long extension to reach the spark plugs. This tool works much better than my old tools and I really like the 360° swivel when you are needing a little flexibility working on the rear bank of cylinders. The magnet holds the spark plug good and tight and the extension snaps securely onto my ratchet. Looking like this will now be my go-to spark plug tool when working in deep spark plug wells.

This spark plug socket does the job, but I had to grease it before using it because the metal was grinding against itself right out of the package. Once I added some lubrication, it worked smoothly and held the spark plugs securely. The swivel design is helpful for tight spaces, and the magnet is strong enough to keep the plug in place. It was exactly what I needed to tune up my car. Overall, a solid tool, just be prepared to do a little maintenance before first use.

I got this extension specifically to reach plugs on our Waverunner and Jetski. There are a couple that are a PITA to get to and also since it is easier to stand next to the boat on the stand or trailer when I work on them, this was handy to have. This seems pretty well constructed for the price, but wouldn't compare it to Williams or Snap-On. The finish is sort of anodized but it feels heavy enough in the hand. The magnetic feature is excellent. FYI as one other reviewer pointed out, if fully angled it will bind some. It angles out about 4.75" from center to center but the usable range is about 1" less than that. For the money though, this will definitely be a nice addition to my toolbox!

I like the length of the socket combo but the hex joint where the extension is connected to the socket isn't precise. There is a LOT of slop between the two. I have standard length swivel sockets like this of known brands and the joint is tight and precise. So I for sure would only recommend using these by hand with a ratchet. I would be afraid to use a power tool with this to remove the plugs as the joint might fail.
