I rolled the dice on this cheap pair of coils- I should have known better. You get what you pay for. Installed one of the two coils as soon as it arrived- still no spark to the plug. I was about to replace the CDI ( assuming the brand new coil was good ) but just to be sure I tired the second one in the box, and sure enough, got spark. I tested the coil post to the grounding tab on the bad coil, and determined it was grounding out, indicating a short. I will replace the "good" one with a OEM and trash both.

These coils are a hit or miss 1 works (for now) the other made me insane because it didn't work cost me my week of summer vacation during the 4th of July, had no boat & perfect boating weather. OEM is more money but worth it

Fit just like oem. Seem well made. Only have about 5 hours on them but no problems so far.
