the internal parts are all plastic. I got seven starts with this repair kit. I installed the replacement part on top of the engine and seven starts later in the same day the plastic parts pulling the motor to start were broken.This is my third try. Third replacement pull handle. I will now have to get a new mower, all the while this one has years left on it. Feel burned.

Have to pull old cup off the motor to make sure these 2 parts go together.Other than that it works perfect. Lawnmower is back in business.Fit my Yard Machine 21" 550EX

Was not bad to install. You need to remove old part of recoil that’s bolted to crank shaft no biggie if you have impact wrench & socket
