I converted my Lincoln welder pull start engine to an electric start. Therefore you need to add a stator and regulator in order to keep the starter battery fully charged.

The stator went bad with in one week. doesn't charge my battery anymore. have to go else where!

This is a dual circuit stator (one lead Vac, one lead VDC via a diode). The regulator is not compatible with this type of stator. Regulator in this kit is for connecting to a 10/16Amp stator which produces Vac across the two yellow leads. It is made to convert the Vac from the stator to 12VDC regulated. This regulator will not convert the Vac and VDC on each lead of this stator to 12VDC regulated.
