Includes gasket, fuel filter, fuel line shut off, peice of fuel line, mini brush tools and back fire preventer on bottom of carburetor bowl.

Carburetor installed 1 hr. after receipt and worked perfectly. The shut off fuel valve allows very little fuel flow when fully opened so did not use. Also discarded gimpy fuel filter & used clear, larger fuel filter.

Bolted it up and realized there wasn't an idle screw. Tried to use the one off the old carb but no dice. Luckily, I have a screw/bolt hording problem and found one and used the spring off the old one. The picture of the item shows a screw. I checked the box many times and there isn't one. That's why I had to take away 2 stars.

My Troy Bilt 42" riding mower with Briggs and Stratton 17.5 HP (500cc) engine just quit working. After spending several hours (and watching many YouTube videos) I figured my carburetor was the problem. i could have spent several more hours taking it apart and trying to fix it - but I saw this carburetor on Amazon for about $23 - so I ordered it. Came 2 days later. The swap took about 20 minutes (probably quicker for someone well versed in small engine repairs) - and after cranking for about 15 seconds (to prime fuel through the system) - it fired right up! Works perfectly !!! Appears very well made (identical to OEM) - as far as I can tell.
