I bought the unit on 1/3/25 and it shipped fast , received it on 1/4/25 with prime. Opened the box this morning (1/5/25), and one of the buttons for the vent setting was broke right off floating around in the package. Unfortunately I have no choice but to use it how it is because my truck currently has no heat and I live in western Wisconsin and the passed two weeks it's been in the low double digits and now single digits this week and it is my commuter for work. Idk what I expected but I guess for paying $100 I at least expected it to not be broke out of the box. Will be installing it later today and will update how it functions, but judging by its appearance i don't have high hopes that's it will work, or work long by look at the (quality) it's made 🙄 defiantly more cheap China junk

Husband installed this in his Tahoe and said it was worse than his old half broken controls. Does not work.

States it fits 2003-2006 Tahoe with manual controls. Does not fit my 2004 Tahoe Z71 with manual controls. Blue plug is correct and black plug is wrong. Lesson learned do not go by what the ad says take apart what you have first to make sure before pressing the button. God Bless, Richard W.

Beware...My original controls lost potentiometer control and had to replace. Replaced it with this "Chinese" part. Problems from the beginning. Module never retains last setting an always reverts to 61 degrees when starting up. Has some communication with the dashboard and there is a delay in gauges responding at start up.It loses communication with AC and will not turn on at times. Not fun in 100 degree heat. What is the most troubling is when you are in 100 degree heat, it does not communicate with the blendoors, most of the time blowing warm/cold air. You might get super cold air if blendoor is closed all the way. This is how I know my AC hard parts are working. It also takes about 10 seconds after you stop the vehicle for the fan to turn off. Passengers will say "your car is still running".As for the vendor; I stated my complaints and they advised me to try a new module. They would send another one, refusing to refund. 3 months later and no new module. I would stay clear of this or any part relating to this type of quality. Unless manufactured in Taiwan, steer clear. This company just has low to no quality control standards and sells junk for profit.Unless you are into stress and anxiety on the road, steer clear. What an absolute nightmare!
