We purchased this item in the past with no problems. Unfortunately, this time the unit leaks, apparently due to a manufacturing defect that left a small hole near the valve end. We store filled jugs on their sides and with this unit, they leak from the top of the valve handle. Going to try another brand, our third attempt.

I tried to replace a 10+ year old nozzel that had finally snaped on my old coleman 5 gallon jug. This new nossel was very obviously more cheaply made. More brittle plastic, thinner I-ring, wouldn't thread properly, etc. Had to return it.

This seems to be a good replacement for my original spout on my Coleman water jug. For some reason the first couple of times it leaked slightly but then after use stopped.
