Exactly what I expected. A roll of sturdy aluminum to protect the gutters. It worked completely fine for me and my late 80s builder gutters. Slide right up under the compost shingles on one end, and tacked it every foot or so on the other end. If it fails to last a full year I'll come back and update the review.

Perfect for my gutters. I have plastic gutters and bought large sheets of metal to cut them down but this product comes precut and fits just right. It's perfect. It did come with metal zip ties but I ended up using sheet metal screws and mounted it on top of my gutters. The leaf's have already fallen for the season but I think this will work well for next season. Very good product and a decent DIY project to save you from cleaning out the gutters every week during fall.
