The case is printed: BTA41-800B. But the silicon inside must be something else. These kept burning out on me at only 20-30 amp loads. BTA41 series is rated for 40 amps max current. Very fustrating!I was using these for a kiln I built. They work just fine ... untill I loaded them past 20 amps.(I've heard of this before, made in China saves money by putting in smaller silicon inside that works fine but is actually rated for much less power ... maybe). If you use these as 20 amps maximum current, then it will probably be just fine. Anything more than 20 amp will blow the chip.Besides this, it seems the other ratings on the data sheet are correct. I did not extensive test this component, but it thermally behaved as indicated and gate voltage is within spec.It could just be a bad batch, who knows? I got some more bta41 from another source and I'm having no problems.
