These shells are adorable and arrived packaged tight, so none of them came broken (thank god!). These, however, are advertised as “medium” and “large.” I would say that they are medium and small. Still worked for my little babies, but definitely not big shells. I used the smaller ones for tank decor, so everything worked out.

I put a quarter for size comparison. We received 5 shells all different shapes ranging from medium to medium large.

Very small. Better to measure and buy specific sizes and f you need them for hermit crabs.

I was expecting larger shells. I needed 3 shells minimum 1.5” opening. Rolled the dice on a 5 pack and got 2 that will work.

They were shipped in a small box with paper shredding. The shells were in very good shape. Happy with the purchase!

I offered all five shells to my hermit crab and he tried on three of them and settled for a regular turbo shell. The other two shells were smaller than advertised. One of them is longer (pointier) than the others and my crab sometimes puts it on but he seems to find it to cumbersome for climbing. That may just be his preference. This might be a good set to buy if you have a smaller size crab (1.75") and you want some larger shells for its eventual growth. But my crab is about 2.2 and he had already outgrown two of them.

Im impressed, this is next level!Im use to order with other companies in size L and compared to that, i would consider them small or even tiny! These are so beautiful! 2 of them soft and 3 of them textured! This is good quality. Dont think twice to buy it for your hermit crabs!! Cant wait to see them thrive in their new house!
