After many years working with high-quality consoles, I decided to take a chance and purchase this small, (no-name) mixer for a very reasonable price. To my surprise, the quality is very good throughout. The only thing I didn't like is that the headphones work after the master fader, which prevents it from being used for music searches. I haven't used it for recording yet; perhaps the USB flash drive doesn't have a recording option. If anyone knows, please let me know.

The price on this is a little higher than what I would be used to spending if it had come out of pocket. That said, it might actually be worth the high cost! It's a versatile mixer with good sound reproduction, and it's very portable. They managed to pack a lot into a little parcel. I love the 99 different effects, and it's verrrrrrry nice that it's USB compatible. This even has phantom power if you want to hook up condenser mics. I'm a thrifty guy, but if you have the jack, I would say that this mixer is worth what you pay for it!

Great to have when recording less then 4 instruments, vocals are a little muddled, but what do you expect for the price. Great for a beginner trying to learn recording.
