Rubber is good quality but each end is too narrow to hold out water and dust.I knew I should have purchased a different one.

I got this after a new windshield was installed in my truck, to seal the vertical edges where water was getting in. I laid down beads of black silicone glue, then laid this flat over it. It’s sticking tight and cured the leaks. Bonus -- it looks good.

Hard to find exactly what you want with this product. Somethings you just have too see. But i took a stab at it. For my camper shell door. It works!!

I have a 20+ year old truck cap that needs a new rubber seal at the bottom of the glass door. This seemed perfect, but I had no idea the T-channel came in different sizes. I thought the size would be universal. This seal has a 3/16th wide T-channel, while I discovered my cap uses something smaller when I tried to install it. My bad.The seal itself seems to be comparable in width to my old one. It is long enough to fit pretty much any cap I can imagine, and allow you to trim the excess. It is a little on the thin side compared to my old one, but should seal out any splashing just fine. Especially after it is exposed to the outside heat/sun, and relaxes a bit.I would have been happy with this seal if it had fit my cap. That's my fault, not the seal or the description. I urge you to measure carefully to insure you get a seal that will fit your cap. If not for this seal being a little on the thinner side, I would have give it 5 stars.
