The thread is extremely loose on the body to the point where strength will be compromised. Also the thread is so loose that it can move to quite a significant angle in the body meaning that really secure clamping is almost impossible .

I would not recommend buying these. When you tighten something down they bend, struggling to support the weight

It's meant to be set of two clamps and only 1 arrived. Very dissappointing as I saw other reviews of people that it happened the same to. Started a return and placed another order. Hopefully two will arrive this time.

The clamp / Screw slightly deforms on use. May not hold up over time. Probably not suitable for heavy clamping loads. Worked fine for clamping boards together for drilling and gluing.
