I had a previous plumbing fixture installed and it work well for awhile then began to leak. Come to find the fittings were British Pipe Standard. They kind of fit initially but I think mating them to NPT eventually caused the leak. I am speculating, but now I ask specifically about the fitting thread standard if it's not clear in the description. I tried asking and the seller did do their best job in communicating this answer: "You can view the threads shown in the attachment. Our supplier has confirmed that these threads are universal. You can try to use it."...so I'm debating if I want to use these. However-the construction and variety of lengths make these a really nice option for installs or repairs. No problem with these products. I just don't know if they will work for my needs without leaks.

Since we are getting ready to redo a bathroom (or two) I decided to replace my current water lines with these stainless steel braided hoses. We had a plastic line fail one day. Thankfully my wife was home and heard the water and was able to turn it off before too much damage. We were lucky.Whether or not these will fail, only time will tell. But I have better peace of mind knowing these are now our service lines.
