I used this with my 50# recurve and the accuracy didn't suffer as much as anticipated with the weight. Although there was considerable drop vs standard target tips I was able to adjust for that. These tips have a considerable thump when they smack a target with little penetration which makes me wonder if they kill by blunt force trauma rather than puncturing vital organs. These are advertised as small game tips and they could be effective for rabbits and squirrels at 30 yards or less with a 50# recurve. You will notice the weight when you draw the bow.

These are some HEAVY thumpers. 250g is way heavier than my other blunt tips, so they shoot a bit differently. Make sure you practice with them to get used to it. That said, they lay down some power in rotten logs/stumps that I've been practicing on. The edges are sharp and grab the ground well to flip your arrow and applies the power on a good hit. The groundhogs and rabbits around the gardens aren't going to like these. I have no doubt you could punch a coyote down with one of these just from the blunt force weight of these if you got your shot just right. I won't try it, but I believe these could haha

These blunt tips are heavy duty! I wouldn't say they are really blunt since the edges are still pretty sharp. The design is super cool that they have a really nice divot built into them to catch whatever it hits. Worth the money for sure! I have smoked a couple grouse with these already and it pinned them really well.

These fit my arrow shafts great. I like using these for target practice in the backyard so I don't have to worry about fly away shots. Well made and am happy with the performance.

I have not had a chance to hunt with these but can say they act like wadcutters on cardboard. Packs a hefty punch that is sure to get the job done with smaller game. They are well made with no diviation in the quality from one to another. No casting or machines defects, slides in and out of the quiver easy. Screwed right into my 500 spine arrows and flew great from a 45lb longbow.
