I've reviewed the single item, ordered about the same time, so I'll mention here what I had to say about it.I've amassed a ski collection over the years, currently owning 4 sets. Over the years I've done tossed them in the corner of my garage or placed under a bed. Lately I've been storing my most often used set in a soft travel bag, again stuffed in the corner of my garage. This season it was a chore to move the oversized bag into the house, open it to remove the set of skis I wanted for a trip, and then return the bag to the garage.When I got the opportunity to review this wall mount I thought I found the ticket. Storing vertically on the wall would make access a breeze and make for easy inspection (the edges could rust during storage). Unfortunately this one didn't meet my standards.The skis are held only by the tips. As can be seen in the photos, the bottom of the skis will spread apart when hung this way. A strap is provided and I would consider it a necessity for this style of ski mount. Logic leads me to think this would be an issue for any ski mount that supports the skis by the tips.Spreading issues alleviated, the holding surfaces (I'll refer to them as jaws from now on) are slippery plastic and provide no grip. I've reviewed another style where the jaws are rubber coated and articulate. These pinch down on the skis themselves and hold them together securely. Even being a secure hold this other mount came with a small bungee cord to prevent the skis from falling out of the mount. Since this product's jaws are plastic that don't hold down, the skis can easily fall out. There's no bungee cord to prevent the skis from falling out. I'd be afraid of these falling and damaging a vehicle.The jaws are adjusted by loosening the hand knobs, sliding the jaws to the desired spread, and then tightening the hand knobs. Max distance is 1.25". Simply adjust to fit your particular skis.I wished I could like this more, but I cannot recommend this product. I feel there are better options available.
