These come in handy for the skirt on my bird cage which is too large for the cage. I use them to clip parts of the cover to bars of the cage to make it fit better.

These are the first set of clip I got for the bird cage, I usually use food bowl. These are nice, easy to use. I use them to hold leafy green for the birds. I like how once it’s place in the the cage, I can easy clip and unclip food without having to remove it from the cage. A little big and barely to fit in the cage wires space.

So I put one of these in each of my birds cages for veggies, fruit and millet to enrich their foraging activities. All 4 cages have different gauge bars. My thickest barred cage I thought it would not work it with some effort I carefully was able to slowly push it into place. The smaller flimsier cages fit a bit loose but it is doable. Remember if your bars are horizontal your clip will be side to side not up and down (vertical) as shown in my pics. The grip strength of the clip is good and holds a decent amount of veggies or whatever with only a bit of crushing occuring as the clip has to hold it in place.Birds can take up to a month to accept new things. My one American Turquoise Parrotlet hen went straight for it as she loves her veggies and was used to something similar with her previous owner. Previous owner was using those metal coffee bag clips but they had sharp edges and were rusting (toxic to birds) so I trashed them and was looking for a safer alternative. These are great so far. No metal so no chance of rusting and no sharpe edges. My Parrotlets and Parakeet likely will not destroy them, but I will of course be watching to see if they chew on them and will watch my GCC (Green Cheek Conure) a bit more as he has destroyed hard plastic rings before that are used to hang seagrass mats. These are a great little product for smaller bird species such as Parakeets, Parrotlets, Finch, lovebirds, bourkes, etc. I wouldn't recommend for larger species such as African Grays, Amazons, Ringnecks, Macaws etc because they could quickly destroy it, unless yours don't chew apart plastic. I think mid sized birds would be a hit or miss and the owner knowing their birds habits should purchase accordingly. For example Quakers and Conures may be ok with it or they may destroy it, so just know your bird. I'm glad to find a safer alternative to the rusted sharp metal clips. I will update in a month or so if they're easily destroyed or if my Conure makes it into confetti lol.
