This kit consists of 6 pieces.There are 2-double females and 2-double males, each of which can be utilized alone as a gender bender.The last 2 connectors are odd-balls and designed to be used as a pair to create either a double female or a double male configuration, depending on your specific application.

If you've got an old legacy machine and need to hook up parallel, these are great to keep on hand. You never know when you have a cable of one gender and need to change it to another!

So the important thing about these is that A) They work, B) if you bought the 6 pack AND you need to gender change from MALE to FEMALE or FEMALE TO MALE you get literally only 2 units.Dont be misled by the number 6 ... yeah, its 2 sets of 3 different changers, which means if you need to make an extension cable reach a monitor or convert to male/female you get 2 per pack not 6.
