I needed to install grab bars for a friend of mine who had hip surgery. The job included four grab bars, two of which were In tiled shower areas. These diamond drills were able to cut through ceramic tile easily. I needed to use the half inch sized that accommodated the kind of fastener I was using. The instructions were most helpful in showing that you need to hold the drill at a bit of an angle in order to start the cut. Once the hole was started, I used a spray bottle with water in order to cool the drill and spray at the interface of the drill and the tile when drilling. I rotated the drill per the instructions and used just enough force to keep the drill cutting. They are perfect for this application.

Works great! Easily drilled through the tile floor. Make a small dimple with the starter bit then start your hole at a 45 degree angle and rotate drill around as you make the hole . Was scared to crack the tile ad some holes were close to the edge but worked great 10 out of 10!

did a great job. used for drilling holes in porcelain tile to mount frameless door, and easy to use with standard cordless dril. perfect because it comes with a pilot hole starter, and I had no problem creating the holes, as long as you follow directions and run at a slow speed. I don't know what happens at his speed because, well, I followed the directions. come in a handy case tool

I hear how these kinds of bits don’t last past 2 or 3 holes, but I just drilled 6 holes with 1 bit through tile, sheetrock and even started into a wood stud! It was easy to use and start the hole if you hold the drill and an angle and then square it up slowly. Cut smooth properly sized holes with no issues, start to finish!

My husband was able to cut holes in three glass circles for me. One slipped off the spot so there is a little grove around the hole, but it is still useable for my project. None of the glass circles broke during the process. We will definitely use them again.The set is nice because you have a few size options. Included is an instruction card with important steps to follow. We didn't have any issues with the bit bending. You can see the tiny glass circles in the bit, this was left after drilling the three circles.Would have been nice to have a plastic case, but the box and packing material is very nice.Decent price, good packaging, and fast shipping

We purchased these to drill holes in Glass Blocks for crafts. Amazing drills. We have used several other brands and between cracks and chipping decided to try another brand. They worked like a charm and no chipping or cracks. They went through the glass very quickly. My husband couldn't be happier. If you need drills for glass, these are your choice, hands down. There are a variety of sizes and well worth the price. Will purchase again if needed.

I was hesitant to buy them, but decided to give it a shot and what a good buy that was! Absolutely sharp and fast. You just need to follow the tips by placing them at angle before have the bit at a straight point. Don’t set the drill at a high speed. I know it says for dry and wet, but I always have a cup with water near by to dip the bit in while drilling to cool it down. This has always given me a good result for long use.Install two shower grab bars with no issue.
