Hubby been making breads and needed something comfy to keep hairs out of his face. These work very well and he wears them for a few hours with no complaints. they wash up easily in teh washing machine. I dry on low an dtehy have not shrunk or torn. I will be buying more.

These chef bandana headbands come to you in a tightly vacuum sealed package. Because of that, the headbands have deep creases/wrinkles all over them. See my photos for reference. Not presentable to wear in that condition. Not sure as to the exact fabric content, I resorted to using my handy dandy fabric steamer to tackle the mess. Fortunately, the fabric took to the steaming process nicely and now the headbands look decent.I really like the style of these headbands. They curve around the head perfectly. They fit close to the head and keep your hair out of the way. My head must be a tad bigger than normal because these headbands are quite tight on me. Yes, there’s elastic in the back band, but the fabric has zero stretch to it. This made them kinda uncomfortable for me to wear for any length of time. I ended up opening the bands in the back and added an additional length of elastic to it. Much better now, quite comfortable and they still stay in place. If you have what is considered to be a “normal” sized head, you should be fine.The fabric is hard to describe. Like I said before, it has no stretch to it. It’s tightly woven, slightly water repellent, has a “crisp” feel to it. It’s fairly lightweight. I’m really hoping it washes and dries well. No instructions for the care. As long as I don’t have to steam out wrinkles every time, I’ll be happy!
