This is a package of 3 different size "tomato" pincushions. I use these when I assemble sewing baskets to sell at my women's club fundraisers, so I am not using them myself, but they are certainly adequate and would work well for anyone. All of them have the little emery bags to clean and sharpen needles. The smallest ones would be great for a travel sewing kit also.

My husband bought these for every mantelpiece in our house. I’m like, whaaaa? (Me sew? Baaahahahahahaha).Sooo (haha pun unintended, but totally stays), I was like “WHAT are you doing?” He’s a little weird and also super smart, so I knew something must be up. He answers “I’m getting rid of the evil spirits!” I’m like, hey- whatever works at this point- I mean, 2021 seems to have told 2020 “Here, hold my beer....”And the backstory:Empress of all things domestic and Snoop’s bff Martha Stewart states, “According to tradition, placing a tomato on the mantel of a new home ensured prosperity by warding off evil spirits. When tomatoes were out of season, people weren't totally out of luck: They simply improvised with red material, sawdust, and a little bit of ingenuity.”Pros: cute, look like you’re more crafty that you are, holds pins, wards away evil spirits.Cons: none so farOverall: I recommend :)
