Look up YouTube for some tutorials. You'll have fun seeing pros but the easiest way is to use the thumbtacks first, stretch and adjust the cloth putting the pushpins where you want, then manually screw the snap in replacing the pushpin. Photos to follow soon.

So far the repair kit is working great and is holding the previously sagging areas up and it looks alot better than the headliner sagging.

I thought I ordered the screw-in type to help repair the headliner by the back window torn out by someone else. This is not even close. Would be great just for general repairs of something else or just decorations. Unfortunately, returns are not credited to your account so I will have to keep it.

We ordered this for the failing headliner in our old VW. We loved the idea and look of the product in the Amazon pics, reminds you of a tufted sofa. I cannot blame the seller that our headliner is quite thin and doesn't give much to use for pushing a pin in, however, I assumed that they would take into account that the average headliner is not nearly as thick as a wall. Included in this kit were regular push pins and small screws about the same length. The icing on the useless cake was that the pin covers (the cute grey part) had no clear or discernable method of affixing to the pins. We are returning.

The other day, I noticed a curious shadow in the rear of my car. To my shock and horror, the headliner was drooping in my 15 year-old Jetta!!! A dismal pall was cast over my holiday joy!Fortunately, I had recalled seeing a repair product that claimed to be able to return my car to its former glory, and I ordered it from Amazon with all deliberate speed. The installation was simple, and the gray flannel cap was a good match to my headliner fabric. Now, if only all age-related sagging and drooping could be resolved so easily...
