This is advertised as Jack nuts or petal nuts but has key words for screw rivet nut on the name and this is how it caught my attention. I have not encountered this but I have encountered and used rivet nuts in the past. With the actual rivet nuts, there is a need for another tool but will look much cleaner with a round metal inside with the nut. This is not as clean, not sure if this is as strong but this is a great alternative if you do not have the rivet nut installation device. The inside does not look as nice and installing this may take time if used manually. You can make the petals grip in with a screwdriver and after doing it a few times, my arms tends to feel it. Drill or powered screwdriver can make it 10 times easier.If you do not like to invest and does not care about the aesthetics inside, I would use this as they also came with the screws, installed with hand tools. What else can you ask. Just don't use this on drywall as they need a thin, flat material to attached. Also note that it is not best to mix metals so do not use this on an aluminum sheet.
