I use these for when I make pizzas. And they're fantastic for it. They're pretty thick so they don't get soggy and they can handle me slicing the pizza right on top of them.

I use cake boards for packing stuffed home made flatbreads. These boards are just the right size for my need but they are thinner than others similar ones I have. I pack 4-10 stuffed breads on them and then shrink wrap them so that gives them strength but I am not sure how well they will hold a 10 inch tall cake. They will make a good board for using as the base for cake for decorating but not for transporting the cake. They work well for my purpose as I pack and put them In paper bags.

What I thought was going to be a great deal turned out to be an okay deal. The boards are on the thin side and need to be supported with either another board or a plate. I went to transfer a partial cake of two layers (still needed the third layer) to another surface and the board started to bend, but not in the middle. It wobbled, I wobbled, but I didn’t drop it, thank goodness. In the future, I will likely use two together to make sure there are no issues.Second, the boards in the photo are bright white. The ones I received are a light gray, almost white board. They look dingy and depending on the color of the cake, can look even dingier. I’ll use these up and look for another source afterwards.

I don't bake so I won't be using these for cakes, but for crafts instead. They have countless uses. I've used them to create cute platforms for centerpieces for my resident events, you can cover them with different fabric patterns or metallic paper and use them for backdrops or an accent wall, use them as a base and add fairy lights to make a little hanging light feature, paint them and string them together to make a room divider and so much more. Can't wait to get started! one side is matt white and the other is shiny, so the possibilities are endless.
