The tool lacks leverage, sets snaps off center due to its design, and the snap button die isn't concave to match the snap button contour. After a month on the outside of my camper the snaps rusted badly, leaving rust stains. When I unsnapped for the first time 30% of the weak snaps came apart.I replaced with nickel plated brass snaps from Sailrite. With the weak snaps it comes with, the tool is barely usable. With quality snaps it took all of my 200lb to use the tool (tool on ground with me putting my weight on the top lever).I'm throwing this thing away and going back to using a Tandy snap setter.The good: I like the little plastic box for holding snaps.

The product came nicely packaged. It's easy to use however durable, not so much. I made my own boat tarp made sure the snaps were applied per the direction on the tarp, put it on the boat and as a test removed a portion of it. The snaps separated. Maybe my fault, I'll fix it and try again.Secondly, stainless steel snaps my A$$, snap heads are rusting.I guess you get what you pay for.I gave it three stars because it's easy to use, the directions were clear and it has a nice all in one carry case. The snaps cand be replaced by a better higher quality brand somewhere else.

This tool does work, but its a bit time consuming to use. While switching the dies is not terrible to do, it does add some difficulty to use . However, once it crimps the eyelets, they remain steadfast.
