Works well, always does 10mm exactly. Saves time be4 i was pouring slowly via Leslie'sPool drip tube. Not sure why other 1 star reviewer claims it doesn't measure exact.Note: you'll need the Taylor 9198 sample tube (doesn't work with others as they are slightly different sizes)

Easy to get the correct sample size every time. Highly recommended.

Worth the money. Makes measuring out water for testing so much simpler.

As long as you use the right size of sample tube, this device does work well. You fill the tube beyond the 10 ml or 25 ml and put whichever end of this device you need into the tube, and the mass of the device pushes out the excess water and and is supposed to leave the right amount behind for testing. If that was true, it would be an awesome device -- BUT it's not perfect. It tends to leave a little bit less than 10 ml or 25 ml in the tube every time. Does minor discrepancy make any difference in testing? Probably not, but who knows? If I am going to the trouble of testing, I want my testing to be as accurate as possible, so I end up using an eyedropper to get the amount exactly correct. Unfortunately, doing so diminishes the usefulness of the device.

This really helps simplify managing your pool, cannot believe I waited so long to get it. I thought it was high priced, but after receiving it I do think it is worth it, very high quality material. This will last forever.

This is a bit of a luxury item for a home owner but I do my own pool maintenance and routinely test my water chemicals using a Taylor test kit. I don't really need this but I love that it will displace enough water leaving me with a 10ml or 25 ml sample. Note that this will only work with certain, if not all, of Taylor's sample tubes. So be sure that it is compatible first.

I do a lot of water tests on my pool so I'm constantly filling that test tube to either 10 ml or 25 ml levels. This makes it instant, easy and perfectly accurate. It is insanely well made with (I think) machines aluminum and is solid in your hand.If you do a lot of tests this will save you time and effort.
