This is the first year my daughter has played softball and we were looking for a way for her to easily practice her swing without having to run after the ball every 5 seconds. This was up to the task and was perfect for our needs.

This is fantastic for a youngster to learn the basics. We got this for our grandson who is going to play ball in the spring this gives him great practice and we don't have to chase down the balls, built in net catches everything. It was easy to put together and stores nicely in the garage when not in use

Nice heavy duty, portable target/net. It all fits into the carry bag -- with some finagling :) Also has a batting tee. Great for my baseball playing grandson. Recommended!!

This is my second batting net that I have acquired through Amazon. I also help coach little league baseball in Michigan (winter and summer) and I've seen and used a lot of these. This set up is nice and well suited for younger kids with a small backyard and or high ceiling basement. The overall quality is sufficient for pre-teens. I use these same nets for our coach pitch league. They're light and disassemble easily. Overall quality if used with care should last 2-3 years. This isn't heavy duty and uses thinner gauge metal. Using sandbags or U stakes in the ground plants it firmly. The T pitch was a nice addition to this kit. The included bag makes transportation easily. For this price point I believe this is good value. I wouldn't use this for older kids as it won't last as long. There's a reason this is a sub $100 and professional nets are in the hundreds. By no means does this take away from its quality because it gets the job done. You wouldn't let your 16 year do their driving test in a Ferrari? The same goes here. I got this primarily for our house so that my son can practice in the back vs. heading out to the park or batting cage. I wouldn't leave this out in the elements for long though; I did that with a similar set up and the metal frame began to rust and the net wasn't as effective wet. Overall 4 stars because it rocks at this price point and gets the job done. Note my other colleague coaches use something similar for their kids.

Easy to put together, nice clear instructions, nice way to train throwing the ball and good for training batting. Light and easy to move around and you can take it apart for easy storage

It’s cold and rainy outside, so this is just my first impression—I’ll update once I’ve assembled and tested it outdoors.The tripod stand and the base of the backstop are made of quality powder-coated steel, while the rest of the frame is similar to tent poles. The net feels heavy and durable. The instructions seem clear and easy to follow, with helpful pictures.I was surprised to find a soft, squishy baseball included, though I bought this for softball. Hopefully, the stand and net can handle the force of a larger, heavier ball. The included stakes should help with stability. My initial take is that this backstop seems solid and well-made.

I have used many different brands of these in the past since I'm a softball coach. This is as good as others. No complaints.
