My 2c:Any poor reviews must be just plain wrong after evaluating and actually using the product (unlike the 99% of so called 'reviews' that clearly are more about getting their face on camera, placing themselves in center of frame waving the product around off to the side. These so called official or no-official 'reviewers' tend to 'Generalize' and talk about how nice the packaging is and how 'Amazing' a product is. They often do this without even switching the device on. To me this is a waste of time unless you value packaging over product. It takes time write a review, time I do not have, and I am not paid nor get free product. In this instance, I just has to say something after reading negatives.Build Quality:This is a very high quality product in metal casing, rivals that of anything professional audio make by Tascam, Sony and Panasonic. This is very slim and great for pockets and really good for concealed recordings.Features:Go with the highest sample rate and highest sensitivity and WAV format for recording a meeting if you want to pick up everyone in room. Even in a pocket is will pick up. It has very capable microphones. Rechargeable via USB-C (which all devices of this type should be in 2025)Ease of use:Simple, but you DO have to use a few buttons to work with menu to setup. Once you have done that, you simply move the RED slider button UP for the device to AUTO Power-on and Start Recording. It will keep recording until either battery runs out, you fill up the 64GB or you stop the recording. You cannot accidently stop the recording (which can be a problem with touch screen devices) or unintentionally 'Press-in' another button. The REC function is safely 'Locked' by a slider switch. To stop recording just slide the REC button back down. Recordings are recorded safely even if power is lost, it will save the recording first before powering off. Recording can also be set to write and save the recording say every 5mins for added safety, but will play back as one recording. This is a great option.Note:If you suffer from attention deficit or have difficulty, operating tech gear in general or reading manuals, then of course any product menu may prove challenging, HOWEVER, once this recorder is setup, you only ever have to slide one switch to Auto power on and start recording.Included Accessories:USB-C Cable , stereo earplugs and a soft carry pouch.Conclusion:For $16.99, this is a steal, feels more like an $80 item. The build and recording quality is normally reserved for professional audio products. Very impressed.

Ignore the naysayers. This little unit is well built, easy to use, full of functions, and has excellent sound quality. It has exceeded my expectations as a durable voice recorder, small, sturdy, easy to use. In fact, having used such units for over twenty years, I was very pleasantly surprised at the sound quality. It fills the bill to a 't'. To boot, it includes a stereo mini cable, USB cable, earphones, and protective sheath. Excellent value.

I saw this on a YouTube video and I’m always having random ideas that I need to write down, but I don’t always have a pen and paper with me. Yes, I am aware that my cell phone has a voice recorder, but it’s often a pain to go into the phone, find the voice recorder, hit the record button, then hit it again because you’re not sure if it started or not… It’s not very user-friendly despite Apple’s unlimited technology. This device, which is about the size of a pack of Big Red gum, allows me to carry a voice recorder that weighs practically nothing in my front pocket, which no one can see. The microphone is very clear. Playback on the tiny speaker is actually outstanding, despite its diminutive size. It comes with a little bag and headphones and a connection jack. My only complaint is the front glass panel scratches rather easily… However, the scratches can be buffed out with Novus polish. How do you say buy it, put it in your work bag. You’ll end up using it.

Does not stay on on while recording, I took voice activated as when it’s in the on and record position it would record during speaking but that’s not the case. Item was 18-cost 8 to return!!

I bought this because of the beautiful design and ergonomic controls. However ...It's possible to get very distorted recordings, because the VU meter is very inaccurate. You think you're recording at a safe level but when you look at the file later you find there's a lot of clipping.Also, battery life is quite limited compared to some of my other recorders. If I start recording and then ignore it, when I check it after about 6 hours, it has stopped recording, display is off. I can turn it on again briefly; display shows battery is completely depleted. Recording is only about 4-1/2 hours long. This is really quite short compared to some of my other recorders.I'm bummed, this looks beautiful and fits the hand nicely, feels substantial and sturdy. But it's supposed to be a recorder and it fails at that in more than one way. Very sad.
