I found this variety pack of eye bolts has helped me quickly fabricate several solutions. I have tapped them into sheet metal housings on several of my wood shop machines to secure shock cords and web nets for accessory storage. Too short to bolt through wood, they are just the right length for attaching to polycarbonate plastic boxes and covers.----------------Sharing is life's greatest joy

First, this thing was packaged very well. Two bubble wrap sleeves, then within a heavy duty plastic bag. The plastic organizer case is one of the best I've seen that come with fastener assortments, and within, even the different sizes were individually bagged and then placed in the compartment. Superb. The eye bolts are good of course. I use these to hang objects from the rafters. So for example, if you have a heavy, awkward item, drill holes in it, attach these, then you can easily hang them from a variety of types of hooks. I don't need a lot of these, and never know what size I'll need, so this was the way to go for me. The washers and nuts were included, and they have both SAE and metric sizes. It's a really great set, nothing to complain about at all.

I use eye bolts like this for hobby rocketry. I prefer the solid/welded loop like these have rather than the folded loop (since I have seen those 'open up' under heavy loads. The assortment of sizes is great as I use these in everything from small model rockets to large high power rockets and so now I am stocked for quite some time. Having the required nuts and washers included is nice as well. I plan to go look through my collection and replace some of the older style just for piece of mind. They are a mix of stainless and zinc but the rockets are mostly cardboard so if anything gets wet I have a problem anyway. I like that they came neatly organized in a box as well, since this fits into my 'supplies' drawer nicely.
