Absolute Garbage!Just save yourself the stress and buy the name brand one.The Chinese factory doesn't machine the turbo flange to the proper spec. The factory v band won't fasten around it, and a wider band won't clear the casting. Pretty much useless.

As others have mentioned the casting is poor and my vband did not fit to mount to the turbo had to modify to make it work.

Fits the Garrett turbo on my 2005 lly. Turbo seems to spool up faster now. This is a great add on and very easy to install. Only little complaint is the inside of the part is a little rough. I polished mine a tiny bit to help with that but otherwise the piece is good quality

Has a few casting flaws, but does the job beautifully. Hard to beat for the price. Was tricky to install due to overall size, but 10x better than the oem mouthpiece. I imagine name brand piece will be just as tricky to install, like everything else on a duramax

This will not fit unless the truck is deleted, however you can get it to fit in but the egr line that plugs in the top won’t fit and you have to run it with the plug out of it otherwise it causes blow by in the engine, don’t get me wrong it’s an awesome part but do not runt the risk of running it unless the truck is deleted otherwise you will blow it up

Installed fairly easy. I could not get the PCV hose to line up to the new inlet. In fear of breaking it, I went ahead and did the by-pass. Being in Taxifornia, I may have to come up with plan during visual SMOG test. Doing the math it's only 15% larger, however I don't feel this will help as the Turbo Intake was the same diameter (or very close) as the original inlet. A larger Turbo would be the correct fix along with the new inlet Elbow. I did not notice a power difference at all. Temps were the same, my gauge runs at 190 from day one. Maybe I'll notice on towing. Ratings are blank as I've not driven enough to notice a MPG gain.
