UV Filter
The ultraviolet (UV) filter prevents UV light from reaching the lens, helping increase clarity and reduce haze. As a result, your photos look crystal clear even in mountainous and coastal areas, where ultraviolet light is particularly strong.
CPL Filter
The circular polarizer filter (CPL), meanwhile, is essential for outdoor photography, as it deepens the intensity of blue skies and reduces or eliminates glare. (Note that the circular polarizer is designed expressly for autofocus cameras.)
Polarizers provide color and contrast enhancement. Reflected light often shows up as whitish glare that washes out color in an image. A Polarizer corrects this problem producing deep, dramatically blue skies. It also removes glare from non-metallic surfaces, such as windows and water. Color saturation in general, especially outdoors, can be improved significantly. Think of it as sunglasses for your camera.
FLD Filter
Finally, the kit offers an FLD filter which helps balance light in outdoor situations. FLD Filter provides correct color, removing harsh green cast caused by fluorescent bulbs. The FL-D and can help create pleasing skin tones under fluorescent lighting without a flash and true-to-life color rendition, along with being an essential tool in any environment where the ambient light is fluorescent.
Lens Cap
Lenses are valuable items and even a small scratch can mar them forever. Always protect your camera's lens with a lens cap! Keep a spare cap in your gear bag for the inevitable lost lens cap, too! Pinch the sides of the cap and snap it into place - it fits securely and your lenses are covered!

Well the filters for some reason on my 950P make the picture blurry had to take them off then it was perfect. Again this is on a 950P NIkon

I am most interested in the UV, CPL and FLD filters. I used them on my new Canon 50mm EF lens (with a 49mm - 67mm step up adapter. I am very happy with the resulting images that I captured using the filters. The kit also includes a tulip lens hood, a rubber hood, and a lens cap.

Ordered this item as I wanted to get a decent UV and CPL filters in this particular size. The added bonus of getting a lens cover and filter hoods was even better. I wished they were bayonet lens hoods, but, at the price I paid, I can't complain. (Well, I could but that would just be whining!)Overall, a great package

I bought this for the hood and the filters were just a bonus. I love that the hood is rubber and retractable. I haven't used the filters yet. I previously ordered the same things, only in 52mm, and have not had any issues. I don't foresee any issues with these. This is a good company to order from. I have not had any major issues.

Had an issue where the wrong size petal hood was sent. Big Mikes made it right and got me the replacement hood before my trip.The filters are standard fare cheapo polaroid. I would have rather seen an ND instead of FL since all digitals compensate for florescent light anyway, technically they handle neutral density too so meh. The CPL works fine and moves pretty smooth without binding. I didn't notice any optical clarity issues with any of them.The hoods are screw on type and work as expected. People complaining about vignetting are not using the right hood for the focal length.The inside of both hoods are threaded through so that you can use filters and lens caps without removing the hood. I have some other cheapos that are not threaded so these are better in that regard.The included lens cap is a pinch type and works better than my most recent name brand offering.Frankly you'd be hard pressed to find a better value with these features.Plus the support was awesome since I didn't have to go through amazon and waste the kit (amazon and landfills) to get the one wrong item replaced.I'm happy with it, would buy again, they have all the sizes too!

This works great with auto focus. The value for the money is astonishing. The warmth is that it’s glass with metal so it’s where ever you keep it the temp it gets. This product works great would buy again and give as a gift. Love these Nd and Uv filters.
