When my significant other and I got together she had a non lethal air pistol that fired rubber pellets for self protection. I thought this was great because it was non lethal and could be carried just about anywhere. I came across these self defense pepper balls I'm decided that they would be a good addition to this air pistol because you were able to direct the pepper spray at someone without having to spray it all over the place.

When I first got these the inside of the tube was coated in red powder. Several balls had open seems an were not steeled correctly

I'm leaving a 4 star review because I had to return my first order due to a broken ball in the canister with powder throughout. The second order also had a broken ball, but I decided to clean it up and save the other 9 balls which now look okay. The price was better than the competitors so 9 balls was worth 4 stars. Suggestion to the seller: put cushions in the ends of the tube to keep the end balls from crushing in transit.

These defense balls are effective, they break when shot and cycle through my Byrna perfectly. They will make it extremely difficult to breath and see if you are hit with one.Very good price compared to others being sold

Welp...I got powder everywhere from these, because some were broken in the pack. They're not like what I expected. I have a Byrna non lethal pepper gun, but it takes harder plastic pepper balls. These are made of clay or some other material that's much softer. Like I said, some were busted and the tube was full of powder.I don't know if I will use these in my little pistol. I don't want one to explode in the chamber and I get a face full of really hot powder. Then it's all over the weapon, my hands, ugh. I'm kind of wary of opening the tube because it's full of dark red powder.Maybe someone else will find a good use for them. I don't think I will.
