This is my go to bowl for so many things. The sieve and cover just make it so easy to make things like pasta and noodles without a bunch of extra dishes.

This Ramen Maker is the perfect size. It does not leak water when microwaving. It is (twice) larger than the ‘originals’ advertised. And handles on this one are a must have and a bonus!!

very easy and cute to use, the top part of the bowl provides as a nice place to put the strainer after to prevent drippings on the counter

Got this for my teen son who is started to venture out to cook on his own. Of course, he loves Raman. And with this he loves it even better. He loves cats and this little raman cooker is so easy to use, to easy to clean and well...I'd just say it's perfect for kids who want to start cooking for themselves!

Works with boiling water so far, I've been using it to bulk make 2-minute noodles and it can easily hold 3 packets.Ideal for travel too.

The drainage layer sits low enough in the water layer that whatever is inside it will get wet. It works great for noodles, veggies, tamales, and other things that can get a little wet. It doesn't work quite as well for dumplings and pork buns, as they'll be sitting in water. You don't need to fill it up with that much water, so it's not submerged, but there will be a little layer of water the food sits in.

I’ll be honest, I primarily bought this because it was a funny cat. But it’s also amazingly useful and versatile.I use it to steam many different kinds vegetables, and it easily handles a portion of veg for two people. The basket does sit low in the bowl, but for steaming veg you only need a couple of tablespoons of water, barely enough to cover the bottom bowl, and you can also turn the basket so the handles sit a little higher out of their groove. This means the veg can steam without sitting in water. Since I got it I haven’t steamed vegetables in a pan on the stove because it is quicker, easier to clean, and more economical to use this in the microwave - 2 or 3 minutes on high does the trick. Steam comes out of the little cat’s nose and mouth, which is also quite funny. The lid is easy to remove when it’s hot because the little hooked tail feature on the lid stays cool.I haven’t used it for noodle/steamed vegetable soup or rice yet, but it would easily make enough for two people. It cleans up easily, has been used many times in my 900w microwave on high without warping, doesn’t absorb food odours, and has a nice shiny finish. Excellent results for a crazy cat lady impulse buy!

Love, love, LOVE this. It works great for ramen and also for pasta and steaming veggies. It's also super cute and cleans up in a snap, and it holds A LOT but still fits inside my small microwave. I may never cook pasta in a pot again. Super convenient, too - love that you cook, eat, and store your food right in this cute pot, so less washing up to do.

It’s cute, if you like this sort of thing. I’m a bit disappointed as it is made of acrylic or plasticand has no heft. The type that is thin, brittle That said, I’m keeping it. I’ve microwaved several things that have turned out well It did frozen meatballs without any melt spots or color staining. It is a pain to wash because it feels greasy-you know the type.
