Installed this 3 or 4 years back. Havent had any issues with it. Only thing I dont care for on this one is the original housing was open so I could visibly and physically see the old motor was bound. This one is entirely enclosed so if this were to fault it would be a but more challenging to diagnose but it's worked great for years so far! Easy to install. Cut gas and power before installing. Make sure you replace the restrictor plate with similar size as the original so air flow is the same.

The old motor failed because the gasket between the vent motor and the furnace had shrunk and became brittle. This new motor comes with a replacement gasket. Removing old vent motor is easy and gives the method for installing the new one. Do this with power off.It’s important to make sure that the drain lines are free of obstruction at this point; this should be done every fall.

Came home from a family gathering to a 60-degree home as my furnace of 25 years had quite on me. I called my reliable HVAC company and December 5th was the earliest they could look at it. I called the installer, and they could come the next day, but I decided to look on YouTube and learned how to troubleshoot the unit and needed this part. I went to Amazon and found this part and expedited shipping and it arrived a few days later from Canada. Installed it and am up and running. Read the reviews of people who ordered this part and saw charges from repair companies in excess of $1,000. Saved myself a ton of money.

This motor went in our furnace I brought a repair man in and he was gonna charge $1300 to fix it. With little research I found this replacement motor installed it myself and nowI have heat again.

Paid for fast shipping (since we were without heat) and part arrived on date expected. I'm not familiar with working on furnaces but this part was simple to replace; fit perfectly and took about 20 minutes to remove old and install new. Furnace has been running fine ever since.

Perfect replacement. Came with gaskets and screws. Just use the orifice out of the old one. It just pops out. Snap it in the new one and you are good to go.
