I used these wheels to replace my Hartman carry on wheels that were falling apart. Nice and smooth. Will last for a long time.

Original Hartmann luggage wheels disintegrated and I found a DIY replacement video by thecollegepicker. Bought the recommended wheels and the tool to extract the wheel pins and followed the steps shown in the video. First wheel took a bit to remove, but once replaced the second wheel was a cinch. Will be ordering additional pairs for my other pieces of luggage.

Bought these wheels to replace my TravelPro wheels that had fallen apart. Wheels worked fine, but I did have to use my old axles and not the ones that came with the wheels, but no prob, rolls fine.

The GOOD: The wheels are well made. The hubs are highly reinforced with excellent bearing shelves. The axles are of high quality construction. I recommend thread-lock liquid. The bearings are held securely in the hubs and are moderately ease to install if the bearings are lined up carefully and tapped lightly with a rubber mallet.The BAD: The bearings are low quality, stamped versions of 608ZZ bearings--look VERY close at the picture to determine if this kind of knock-off is acceptable for your application. These bearings aren't packed, so lubricate them before installation. Certainly, these bearings are not suitable for in-line skates even if packed with skate-rated grease.
