Your cart is empty.Great matched QUAD. The modified pentode - 6J1P-EV is specially designed to amplify alternating voltage (signals) in a wide frequency range. The radio tube is quite effectively used in cascades of radio receiving equipment, as well as in circuits of television equipment. The lamp body is made in the form of a cylindrical glass bulb, which is equipped with seven contact pins used for installation in a special lamp panel on an electronic board. The pentode has not been produced on an industrial scale since 1982. Main technical characteristics Voltage applied to the anode in standard operating mode: 120 V. Rated current in the anode circuit: 7.35 mA. Input/through/output electrical capacitance of the pentode: 4/0.035/2.3 pF. Average power released at the anode: 1.2 W. Rated voltage on the second grid: 120 V. Minimum operating life: 5000 hours.

Yes, these are great with the MT-604. To me, they sound like the bass got quite a bit punchier, and the treble extension increased a bit. It somehow feels like everything is also more controlled, a bit tighter/faster. I listen to some faster EDM and prog-metal, as well as math rock and the change was very pleasant. But the punchy bass really benefits every genre. Guitar and piano instrumentals feel beefier with these tubes than the stock ones. I also listen to video game soundtracks and Pop. Haven't found any genre yet that didn't sound better with these tubes over the stock ones.Also, I don't know if this is just me or something, but I felt that the tubes had greater effect the higher the volume control was set to on the MT-604. Mine have solid balance up to 3 o clock. When set to max on both channels, the right side was just a little louder for some reaon. But when both are at 3, they sound even. Don't know if this is a problem with the amp, or if this is just the nature of this type of equipment.Lastly, I'm sure the headphones and set up can really change everything. So, for those curious, I run a SMSL m300se dac into a smsl h300 that I use as a preamp into the xduoo mt 604. For headphones, I only have one balanced pair, and that is the Hifiman Arya Stealth edition. I doubt the smsl h300 is really doing much sound quality wise, but I wanted that so that I had a very good clean and linier amp as well as the Tube amp. (Edit: I did some A and B today, and I'm surprised to say that the H300 as a preamp does in fact effect the end sound quality. With the dac set to Fixed or max, and the preamp doing what I believe to be full analog control, the sound is much meatier than without. I really like this aspect, which is of course why I wanted the tube sound to begin with. Is it an insane difference? No. I bet a cheaper analog preamp oughta do this well enough. Is it worth it? For me, yes.)Anyway. Just an enthusiast. I'm not an expert, and I don't have any measurement tools. This is all subjective and to my ears. Excellent. Natural and detailed sound with XDUOO MT-604 driving HE5XX. Much better than the tubes it came with. Timbre is greatly improved, and the treble is smoother but still detailed. Brass and strings actually sound good now on the HE5XX.There was a small channel imbalance after installing the new tubes but this was easy to correct. There were also some weird sonic effects when I first listened on the "new" tubes, but this seems to have cleared up with a couple hours of burn-in.I was skeptical due to the price, but these are a very nice upgrade after a year of using the OEM tubes in the XDUOO.

Bought these tubes to go with an XDUOO MT-604, which uses a quad set of tubes. Small but noticeable improvement over stock tubes. It can be difficult to find a matched quad set of tubes of this type so these are pretty nice.

These tubes changed the character of the Xudoo MT-604 once they settled in. It didn't take a gazillion hours of burn-in time, I would say more like a day or two. Music sounded great, clear trebles and punchy bass. The music sounded like a 85% upgrade in comparison to the stock Chinese tubes that were included.
