i work on GMs all the time & this filter kit for the 6L80/6L90 transmission is exactly what i needed for my 2007 yukon denali. if you've ever had to source transmission parts you know dealerships will absolutely gouge you on pricing for these basic maintenance items.this kit includes everything you need - the filter, pan gasket, & all necessary seals. quality is on par with OEM parts which was my biggest concern. filter material feels substantial not like those cheap aftermarket ones that feel like they're made of paper towels. gasket is the proper thickness & material - not that cheap rubber that tears when you're installing it.installation was straightforward for someone with my experience but even if you're a DIYer with basic knowledge, this is totally doable in your garage. took me about 2 hours start to finish including draining the old fluid & refilling with new ATF. filter drops right in place exactly like the original.what impressed me most was how perfectly everything fit. no modifications needed, no struggling to get things aligned. the gasket seated perfectly against my transmission pan & hasn't shown any signs of leaking after several weeks of daily driving in pennsylvania's wild temperature swings.i've installed this same kit on several customer vehicles in my home garage & haven't had a single comeback for leaks or shifting issues. this is the same quality you'd get from the dealer parts counter but at a fraction of the price.for those who maintain their own GM vehicles like i do, this is absolutely worth keeping on the shelf for your next transmission service. i'm probably going to pick up another one for my husband's silverado when it's due for service. proper quality, perfect fitment, great price - can't ask for more than that

If you are going to have the fluid changed in your 6L80 transmission equipped Chevy this is a great deal. Appears to be same quality as OEM GM Factory part. I recommend.
