I really wish they'd stop using these near-microscopic antenna connectors for wifi and bluetooth. If manufacturers need something small, there are plenty of ribbon-type connectors that will do the job perfectly! But, I digress. These are great for replacing the cheap wifi antennas that come with a lot of devices, and with a few different connection options, these are good for devices with the screw-on antenna mount connected to the board, as well. I've replaced the internal wifi antenna on 2 desktop PCs and an old 17" tablet that went defunct. The 6-pack is great for not only your current needs, but the ones that you and I know will come up!

I got these to use with my LoRa Arduino compatible boards and projects, and these seem fine for that as far as I've used them. The u.fl connector is convenient and works well, so that's not a concern. It gives you the hardware to mount the SMA connector to an enclosure if you want which is a nice bonus as well for a product like this to include. Overall 6 is more than enough for me to use and have a few spares, and it seems to work, so no complaints here.

These are tuned to Europe standard frequency for LoRa... which is 850MHz as seen in my SWR screenshot. I tested them all... same.It is a shame, really. Nice quality build, etc. They are just wrong for our use and not as promiaed.

I recently got some project cases made by MakerHawk to house the Heltec V3 boards for making Meshtastic devices. I had been looking at getting into this for a while and decided to go ahead and build some. These antennas are the perfect fit for my cases both figuratively and literally. What I mean is that is the antennas are tuned to 915 MHz which is the designated frequency for LoRa here in the US (I think the UK uses 433MHz). Also, the pigtail style cable adaptors have a standard SME antenna connection on one end and a snap on IPEX connector for the development board on the other. Plus, by design, the SMA connector is the exact diameter of the hole/notch on the case. The included washers allow you to cinch it down pretty tight and keep it from spinning in place, not that you are likely to be removing the antenna very often anyway. The reception and connectivity are largely dependent on the board, but the Heltec V3 board has some impressive range with line of sight, considering it’s low power which is, of course, what “LoRa” stands for, long range. One of the best things about this particular set of antennas and pigtails is that, with Meshtastic networks, the more nodes you have, the better, and these help to facilitate distribution of “repeater“ nodes over a wide area. All in all, I think this is a great set of antennas.

I have a few MakerHawk's batteries. They are great. But unfortunately, these antennas are not tuned to 915MHz. They are tuned to EU 868MHz. See the attached screenshot from my NanoVNA. The SMA ipex pigtails are also very long at 15cm. The pigtails may work well for large remote LoRa/Meshtastic devices. They are too long for small handheld devices.I like MakerHawk's products. But this one disappoints. MakerHawk, please do better. I am rooting for you.

These work just as expected, and install easily. Make sure you are getting the right length, if you are looking for Wi-Fi antennas, you don't want these, they're a different frequency band,

These are not 915Mhz Antennas these are for Europe around 850Mhz
