These brushes are well worth it / soft brass bristles and not scratching material that are used on.

I needed some brass brushes to clean the barrels of a steering cylinder. These brushes were plenty long enough, and stiff enough to help get the built up material broken up to flush out. Would by again in an instant.

I am cleaning up some combination wrenches.The closed ends of the wrench were rusted so I needed a brush to get into those grooves.A too soft brush did not work but these were perfect for the job giving me scrubbing action without being too soft. Also a stiffer brush didn't splatter the oil as I scrubbed.I sprayed WD40 in the hole and it took a few swipes to clean that rust right off. I love the various sizes too since the tool ends are different sizes.I had some gun cleaning brushes that didn't work because they were too stiff.

I use these brushes for cleaning out holes in vintage machinery that I restore. The variety of sizes make it possible to clean almost all the holes I come across. They work real good for threaded holes and blind passages. The bristles are stiff enough to do a good job of removing debris and corrosion. The handles are long enough to reach into deep holes and tight areas. These are good brushes at a reasonable price. I would order again.
